Mini rotating disc electrode tips
BVT provides a wide range of RDE tips, composed from different materials from gold, platinum and copper to glassy carbon and working electrode diameters from 2 to 5 mm.
The electrode material is inserted into a body of the Rotating disk electrode (RDE) to ensure excellent chemical compatibility and mechanical integrity.

RCEc.R* Reference Classic Electrode Conic
Read moreRCEc is a glass hollow tube with silver or silver covered by silver chloride wire inside. The tube is hollow with the hole in the wall for inserting KCl solution.
Hole is covered by a rubber band. Reference classic electrode (RCEc) is designed for measurements with glass cell TC4, TC5, TC6, TC9.
Standard connection is with a 2 mm banana connector.

The PalmSens4 has a large potential range (-5V to 5V or -10V to 10V) and current range (100 pA to 10 mA) with a high resolution and low noise. The economical PalmSens4 is a complete laboratory instrument but its compact and rugged design makes it also ideal for field work.
Connecting via Bluetooth guarantees a perfectly floating measurement.

Hanging Platinum Drop Electrode
Read moreThe Hanging Platinum Drop Electrode (HPDE) is solid phase alanogy of HMDE.
The drop of liquid Pt at 2000 °C forms a drop of Pt. The surface of HPDE has nearly ideal surface which is impossible to obtain using polishing. HPDE has also spherical symmetry which enables mathematical treatment of its response.
The material is not toxic and it is chemically stable. The only disadvantage is HPDE cleaning, which can be, however, in some cases solved by carefull insertion of the electrode tip to the flame of an alcohol burner.

The customer starter kit is a set of twenty different electrochemical sensors to find the best one that suits your application.
The starter set contains at least 5 pcs of sensors type AC1.W*.R* from the given type of sensors with a working electrode diameter (Dw) 1 or 2 mm stored in a box with numbered positions and silica gel.
The exact choice of the given types of sensors in the kit is at the request of the customer.

EmStat4X
Read moreThe EmStat4X delivers high performance in a small footprint. The EmStat4X is a small battery and USB-powered Potentiostat, Galvanostat, and optional Frequency Response Analyser (FRA) for Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS).
The EmStat4X Low Range (LR) version is great for applications that require measuring low currents down to picoamps, like (bio)sensor research. The High Range (HR) version is very suitable for applications that need a maximum current of up to 200 mA. The EmStat4X is controlled with PSTrace for Windows, or you can write your own MethodSCRIPT and control it from any platform or operating system.

The EmStat4X LR and HR features include:
- Fast EIS support: for running fixed-frequency EIS measurements at a very low interval of around 1 ms.
- Auxiliary Port: for connecting to a MUX8-R2 multiplexer, temperature sensor, pH sensor, stirrer control, triggering and more.
- iR compensation: to compensate for the iR drop between the Reference electrode and the outside of the double layer of the electrochemical cell.
- Bluetooth: for a wireless connection to a PC, smartphone or tablet
- 11.1 Wh battery: for more than 8 hours of continuous measurements (typical with the LR).
- Small borderless display: showing the state of the battery and connectivity.
Two versions
The EmStat4X comes in two different versions:
- Low Range: for lower currents and potentials (±30 mA / ±3 V applied / ±5 V compliance)
- High Range: for higher currents and potentials (±200 mA / ±6 V applied / ±8 V compliance)
Both versions can be configured with optional EIS/FRA up to 200 kHz.

The EmStat4X is equipped with 500 MB internal storage memory for storing your measurements as a backup. All internally stored measurements can be browsed and transferred back to the PC easily using the PSTrace software for Windows. Your data is always with your instrument wherever you take it.

The sensor is made on a corundum ceramic base. Working, reference and auxiliary electrodes are applied to this surface. Working, reference and auxiliary electrodes are made of different materials. At the end of the sensor there is a contact field that is connected to the active part by silver conductive paths that are covered with a dielectric protective layer. The working electrode of the sensor with a diameter of 2 mm is made of a material of guaranteed purity of up to 99.99 % depending on the selected material– standard layer thickness 0.0125 mm.
We also offer a working electrode made of polished gold AC1P.W*.R*, with homogenous surface with roughness less than 1 µm.
We also offer activated graphite sensors on customer request.
